Still going
Hey all! Haven't been on the board in FOREVER, but wanted to drop in and announce that I'm still sober (thank God!) and coming up on 2 years of continuous sobriety in less than one month. Here's a link to my story in case you're interested (I had an unorthodox treatment plan that didn't get a ton of instant support round here, but understandably so). https://www.soberrecovery.com/forums...610-hello.html (Hello!)
It's been life changing for sure, although life still comes at you (i.e. 2020) when you're sober. Thankfully, however, I have tried my best to stay humble, never forgetting where I came from, and above all relied upon and surrendered to God and His plan for my life. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and give an update.
For all those struggling to quit drinking, just know that IT IS POSSIBLE but you have to want it more than anything else in this world. Start wherever you're at though, recovery doesn't require perfection.
