Day 91

Never thought I’d make it 90 days. Feeling grateful.

If a drunk like me could make it 90 days, I could make it for life.

The AV morphs. It is a liar. It will do and say anything to get me to relapse for the rest of my life.

Great reminder. Gratitude.

By any means necessary. Born again non drinker. Proud.

Thanks.

I doubt than most of us were certain that 90 days was in the cards when we first started. I remember approaching those early anniversaries with a feeling of awe and wonder like this all seemed to good too be true. But you know you're not dreaming. It's really happening, and your self-confidence gets stronger.

Many of us struggle in early recovery, and there was some of that for me too, but mostly it was filled with the awe and wonder that I just described. And of course, gratitude. It's wonderful when you have something worth being grateful for again.

I'm glad you gave this report on your progress.
