Phenomenal post. Thanks!
I keep reminding myself while chopping the wood and carrying the water that spring air smells great, the stillness of the morning is amazing to enjoy, and the little daily habits that I enjoy are fulfilling enough in and of themselves - and that I can cherish them for what they are without feeling a need to chase something else all the time. So yea, chop wood and carry water. And invest in enjoying the little things that are all around us everyday while doing so.
