I love Anthony Hopkins, one of my favorite actors and an amazing man. I haven't looked at his Instagram until today, but that quote is a great inspiration to remind us why it would be a very bad idea to pick up drinking. Luckily, we never need to worry about it if that "today" never comes

So he didn’t really eat his victim’s liver with fava beans and chianti. That’s spoilt the film for me now
Doing the maths, he quit at 38. What a great role model. He’s now 83 and looking good, and he knows full well he’d be long gone by now if he’d carried on drinking. I had no idea he’d been an alcoholic so have a lot of respect for him now. Imagine all the parties he’s attended with champagne and such like being in abundance. Fair play and what an inspiration.
Wow, he also gave up smoking (something I’m glad I never got into) and also lost 80lbs!
