10 years (and a few extra days)!

Yeah, so on a December day 10 years ago, I decided I'd had enough.
This site, its members, and the tools I gained here were so, so, so valuable.
I remember thinking how weird and difficult holidays would be without drinking. I even had an association in my mind between lights on the tree a good buzz. Now I know that was just the addiction; I didn't even think about it while decorating this year. Not once. In fact it wasn't until today that I realized my 10-year anniversary came and went a few days ago. That's a helluva gift to give yourself.
Don't give up, because you really can do it! Be well, all. And thank you! 🙏🏼

I couldn't imagine holidays, vacations, etc. without drinking - but like you, it rarely crosses my mind these days. It's so great to know we'll never sabotage ourselves again.
