Alcohol will suck the life out of you in everyway. Stop as soon as you can.
After some time away from the alcohol you will slowly start to find yourself and that is worth everyday sober.

Someone wrote on here once they got sober they treated that like it was something very valuable they weren’t going to give away. I can relate to that. I’ve been off and on for a year. After many years of abuse.

Tossed that away after 30 days sober at the end of July and relapsed. Was a horrible thing. It started off ok but 3 weeks in it was a disaster again.

If you need to taper off over a few days do it. But set a goal and stick to the plan. When you are sleeping and eating normally it’s great.

Taking meds to quit. i.e. xanex, volume, pot, etc.

Trace Cyrus just posted a video on Instagram saying how clean he is and that some folks stop drinking, but smoke pot etc.

He didn't mention rx meds and I assume he takes them. Some folks need them to survive. I am not a judge of that.
