I'd only heard Roger Whittaker sing this song up till now, but this lad seems to make a good job of it...
Beautiful tall ships.

I think setting Anchor and doing some land activity is would be lots of fun. Besides, the cats need to have a rummage around on dry land after all this time at sea. I follow a brilliant cat called Miss Rigby Boat Kitty on Instagram, she lives on a boat with her humans who sail round the Caribbean.

Another nice day here and a lot less windy so should feel a bit warmer.

Thinking of you Marty and anyone else worrying about being furloughed or who already have been. There are rumbles at my work that some cost savings might have to happen as if students can’t start on site in September, revenue seriously reduces and something will have to give which is likely to be jobs. x

Great suggestion Captain for mountaineering, perhaps Vinny or anyone would like to choose one, where we can also pitch tents on too.

If we can prepare ourselves for our hiking weekend, equipment, food, boots! We may need a guide,

Kaily great idea thank you, is there a mountain, hills with waterfalls anyone can recommend?

Captain, yes, they came over U.K. last night and night before.

Morning, shipmates.

I am up for hiking too. Manta already gave voice to my thoughts - we can anchor Invicta Serenity and go exploring the land.

Hawkeye - Thank you for delicious dinner!

See you later)

Stay safe!

Caramel, that was a surprise! Hearing all is sing that song. Only ever heard it by a Roger Whittaker too. Lovely song. Beautiful yachts too.

Kaily, I’ve never seen that train up Snowdonia. Wow! I see the engine had a lot of work to do at one point.

I have always wanted to go up Snowdonia on the train and walk back down. I made enquires last year but unfortunately they don't allow dogs on the train. Alfie would of been my travel bud. I think he was secretly pleased as he doesn't much like trains or mountains.

He had a nice swim yesterday.

Great photo Kaily, Alfie is loving it! Shame you couldn’t take him on the Snowdonia train, can he come with us on our climbing weekend. x

Very romantic, a steam train to the top of a mountain and a cat on an Aussie sailboat.

Good morning W'Enders. It's 5:52 AM.

I don't like how this virus has made me into a killer. All this bleach and soap and worrying about a little tiny lifeform. It's not in my nature to dislike or kill anything that's out there, be it spiders, snakes, kitty cats or viruses. I don't like this feeling. Thanks for letting me say that...somewhere. I think real life people might act like I've lost my mind. Maybe I have a little. Six weeks in isolation.

Happy Wednesday!
(It is Wednesday, right?? I had to think hard about that for a while upon waking this morning).

In my next life, can I please be a cat who lives on a sailboat in the Caribbean?? That sounds like pretty much a perfect life. When I was little (and sometimes still) I wished I were a cat. Like it was a real yearning to be a cat. Don't know why. It just looks like such a lovely life, as long as you have humans who love you and you get plenty of food and pets and toys and sunbeams to lie in.

We have clear skies in London for a change so I will look out for the satellites. I'm sure the drop in pollution must be helping in that regard. Good to see the sky not disfigured by half a dozen contrails too.

This is weird but I feel it is better to walk up a mountain and get the train back down. I know that sounds mad but I reckon walking downhill for a long distance uses the "brake" muscles in our legs that we don't use much most if the time and they are what ache the next day.

I was going to post a photo but appear unable to to so. Not sure why. I will investigate.

Sorry MLD but you saying you yearned to be a cat made me think of furries Gave myself a little giggle.

Yes Sao I have heard that but I think it depends on how steep it is. I would be opting for the easiest route. Unfortunately it has become a extremely busy tourist attraction now.

This is weird. I cannot do anything in advanced settings - including editing posts hence the one above consisting of a full stop.
