I'm in! I wish I were actually in a sun-soaked, warm locale near the ocean right now. But I'll take an extended virtual vacation with you folks for a fine substitute!

Here's a picture I took standing on the porch of the little cabin on the beach I have stayed in twice now in Belize. I wish I were there right now!

Another SR friend was just there last month....she loved it as well. Gosh, how could you not :)

It's such a beautiful place. And relaxing. Lots of fun activities to do if you want to. Not terribly expensive. Easy to get to from the US (although I have run into plenty of folks from all over when I've been there). Really nice people. It's getting more popular as a vacation spot, which is sad, but the place I went to is a small village (Hopkins) that isn't too built up with tourism yet. Which I like. Other parts of the country boast a lively nightlife and lots of bars, which obviously means nothing to me. I want quiet and safety.

Once had a roommate from Belize. His mom came to stay with us and she would break into my room when I wasn’t there to clean and do my laundry. Then she would demand money for her work. Turned out to be beneficial for both of us. Nice people good food. He used to say the clearest water in the world

Just magnificent MLD. I kept looking....those multi-colour cabins at one of the resorts are to die for. :)

I was unexpectedly called to work today. Going tomorrow too.

I got quite used to self-isolation and soaking in the sun at the deck of Invicta Serenity. So, not happy about this.

On the other hand, it's good that I still have a job amidst these turbulent times.
