117 days - about to hit 4 months

I used to drink hard liquor and I was kind of worried about my alcohol consumption so roughly 7-8 months ago I stopped drinking hard liquor. It was around the 7-8 months point when I went to beer only for a while and tried to limit it.

Roughly 4 months ago I decided to take a break from alcohol, but after a week or two I decided to just quit.

Here I am almost 4 months later or 117 days later.

Roughly $700 (food and alcohol) in savings or $175 (food and alcohol) per month in savings.

Great work, Math! Don't want it...don't need it...certainly healthier to be without it.
It all adds up...

great going.
I wouldn't just look at the monetary benefits, but the health benefits, too, which are vastly more important.
You've some good time behind you. Keep it up.

Yet to figure this one out on how to calculate it out.

That I might of saved $20,000 on the health benefits down the road to as well. I do focus on the health benefits, but I keep these quiet for the most part as it helps me to be there my own way quietly I guess.

Heart attacks alone can cost around $1,000,000.

That maybe it's $700 + $1,000,000 (insurance or something pays for much of it though).
