Ryan Leaf was an NFL draft bust. In Australia people probably don't know him. I was using jargon.

Which is why I compared myself to Ryan Leaf. My whole life has been like Ryan Leaf's career. I'm a joke. I don't deserve to consume oxygen that other humans and plants need.

Drinking doesn't seem to be doing much for your self esteem, man.
Even if you're not sold on the method what could it hurt to join an online AA meeting, or SMART or whatever?
Do a little work on your recovery rather than your drinking?
You might just hear something that helps convince you that death destruction and humiliation are not the roads available to you?
