Well, to name a few, among others that don't strike me now:

- No hangovers
- No migraines or headaches (not kidding- can't recall the last time I took an aspirin)
- No blackouts, so no gut-wrenching fear trying to recall what I did / said the night before
- No embarrassment & shame
- No missed workdays
- Lost 35 lbs, no longer obese
- More cash to spend
- Newfound ability to think 'big picture', instead of simply running out the clock until the next beer
- Intrinsic sense of peace & calm

Most importantly, I've found solace in practicing meditation, which has become a crucial part of my everyday life. And safe to say that it more than makes up for any so-called 'benefits' booze ever brought me.
