Day two

I'm home. No alcohol in the house. Getting things gathered for work tomorrow, calm feeling-- I'm gonna call this a successful day! Thanks again for all the amazing support, you all!

That is great kjma. Don't worry about things in the night. You might sleep. You might not. No big deal. Stay where you are and just enjoy the calm and quiet. Those are treasures I am coming to conclude, regardless of the hour. Post tomorrow and give us an update on how you are doing.

Thanks for asking-- I just added a thread explaining, but it's been hard. I got upsetting news that's put that "let's drink it away" thought in my head. I don't want to cave...am coming up with a plan for how to spend the evening diverting my thoughts. Just posting is helping.

Yep, I was on here all day when I first quit almost 8 months ago now. The first week was tough but make it a challenge and tough it out for the win. Its amazing how much better you will feel just a few weeks away. And time flys. Drinking or not. Even your bank account will like it. I have never had more money in the bank in my life. In just 8 short months. F drinking. Best of luck to you, you have a good start.
