I think the movie title was (it just came to me and I've not googled to confirm) McCabe and Mrs. Miller. Might have been directed by Mike Nichols, who might have also directed The Graduate.
And still, it might be Katharine Ross and not Julie Harris. The google will know, but jr is not about to get distracted by factoids, as he is on a short break from workywork and must get back to his desk soon.
"Plastics":
It's the famous punchline from The Graduate, where poor old clueless Dustin Hoffman has no idea what he wants to do after college, and one of his parents' friends pulls him aside (was the puller-asider the husband of the Anne Bancroft character? Mrs. Robinson in the movie? kuku-cachoo?, who is the mother of Elaine?, that same Elaine who The Graduate wisks away from the altar in the scene you posted, venuscat?)
So, earlier in the movie, the guy pulls The Graduate aside, and says with dramatic effect to him, that the key to his successful future will be, drumroll please:
"I got one word for you, Benjamin:
Plastics!"
Hi-jinks and hilarity ensue. I wonder if it's on Netflix.

Oh, and bioluminescence - the only time I've ever seen it was in Belize, on last year's trip. Took an excursion to a lagoon where it's pretty impressive. It wasn't *quite* dark enough to have it be spectacular that night, too much moon, but it was pretty cool. A couple of brave souls swam in it. I wasn't keen on being in the same water in the dark as large swimming amphibians, so I took a hard pass on that.

I have never missed a single ep of L&O.....not one. I have seen all of the series. Even the one that was not so good.....can't remember what it was called. I am the biggest Dick Wolf fan on the planet....I love all of his stuff.....and what he did for Mariska was lovely....said poo poo to her weight gain from her illness and did not care if his leading lady was not a stick. Very nice man. And the Chicago Series....I adore all of them....Med Fire and PD. xx

Jr67 is the SR member who once was a taxi driver.
That would have been the coolest SR name for me to use. Is it too late to change?
Vaguely remember seeing that movie but can't remember that line from it. Just a tad too far back. Again I remember jr's line from a TV show, which probably again had it's origin from the movie. The Seinfeld episode with Cedric and Bob. "Were you talking to me?". "No, maybe he was talking to me."
Having some technical difficulties Re: uploading pictures of Belize. I'll give it a try later from home, if I feel like firing up the laptop. If I have time to fire up the laptop.
