I’m sorry to hear that. Are you drinking right now? Dump it out. Have some water.

If the post before this one was any indication, you went into this relapse thinking you were "missing out" because you couldn't drink.

What do you think now?

I'd say go to bed and when you get up eat. Then come on here and make a plan.

Do you want to stop drinking?

I'm sorry you are suffering, we have all been there.

Accept that you're going to have to go through a little hell to get to the other side. It gets better each and every day.

But, you have to go through the crappy stuff first.

Best to start now! You can do this...

I'm sorry you're hurting. That's what alcoholism does to us. I'm glad you have no more alcohol and I hope you start feeling better soon. Can you think of something to add to your recovery plan to prevent another relapse.

This time of the year is a relapse minefield.

I got urged to nearly relapse in 2016 on Aug 28th.

Sr talked me down. The av is active for me more than ever.

I have a 4 day weekend, nobody would know. I could hide and be a big fat drunk.

Nope. I am looking forward to a great show tonight, then a nice run in the morning, then food and more food.

I already put on 4 pounds. But, I am going to turn it into muscle.

Extra sleep and extra food mean extra work out energy.

I don't drink anymore. The crave subsides and then I am in glorious natural euphoria.

Booze is poison. I don't believe the hype.

Thanks.

Great post! I experienced a really sensational craving yesterday.
I also experience the subsiding of it which was even better

Thank you for reminding me that Sober is better.

On the way to the meeting I saw alot of bars jammed pack starting the holiday with an early release from work day drinking

It would only leave me with a compulsion of not being able to stop continuing on until I passed out and becoming sick

Every relapse I had was more intense, more painful and more isolating than the previous. Keep posting.
