Day 2 ... this is a big deal for me!

Hi all, I'm only on day 2 and all cozy in bed & ever so grateful that I am - teeth brushed, face moisturized - instead of eating everything in sight and then stumbling to bed. I can't remember the last time I went this long - I'm feeling really strong this time, ate healthy and started working out this evening to try and start taking off this extra weight from drinking, I've gained so much it's really terrible, don't even want to imagine what my liver looks like. I know the AV will be going crazy this weekend so I really have to armor myself up for it! I've posted many times before and here I am once again, hello again everyone! The AV voice can go fly a kite because I'm really loving going to bed sober, what a reward! It's the after my workday part that will be the hardest - I was a drink alcohol instead of eat supper while making supper kind of momma. Now I'm focusing on being an active momma that is entirely present for my kids. Day 2!

It sounds like a wonderful beginning to sobriety GettingReady. I hope you sleep well and wake up tomorrow with the same positive energy. I’m sure once your body adjusts to sobriety the health issues you’re worried about will sort themselves out. If you’re worried about your liver I suggest seeing your doctor for a check up, blood work etc and discuss any concerns. No sense in worrying when you can find out easy enough. Stay close to the forums during your difficult hours, or stay busy through them. Looking forward to hearing how you’re doing tomorrow .

Way to go on day 2! I had a lot of ups and downs early on, but over time I really started to feel so much better. You can do this!
