Day 82
-Life is good.
-Sleep seems to be improving according to my tattle tail fitbit.
-Haven't been totally motivated the last couple days but still staying active.
-Cut my cable/cable TV again and have been watching shows I grew up on. It's interesting what you pick-up now compared to when you were younger and how true the messages still are. Example...Little house on prairies show today was about drinking/driving [Horse and wagon] and divorce from the drinking. Plus there was the accident from the drinking and driving and then accepting a higher power.

controls - this is great and great going on 82
I had to smile at a couple things- first, "tattle tail fit bit"! I loved mine when I was still serving and worked at a place with 3 flights to the patio. Not as much once I moved on...
And the TV thing...I have noticed a lot of "shifts" over my sober time. The drinking stuff has popped on my radar off and on - some shows have oddly bothered me when I see these "high functioning" women drinking alcoholically (Damages is one that was brilliant and a perfect example of this).
You might be interested in a movie that I thought excellent - "Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot" - you learn the tragic part in the trailer or beginning scenes, then the story unfolds. Among the cast, Philip Seymour Hoffman is especially good.
Keep going my friend!!

That made me giggle too. My Fitbit practically owns my arse.
The resting heart rate has become a big indicator. It lowered when I stopped drinking. It raises when I am anxious/stressed/working too much. Sometimes I do not always know myself or recognise when my stress levels are spiralling but the tattle tail sees all.
Congrats on the 82 days!
