It takes a long time to build up trust between
those we have hurt. I had to learn that my sober
actions can speak volumes.
As time goes on and you are living a sober
life incorporating tools of an effective recovery
guideline/program in all areas of your life on
a continuous bases, then many of those bridges
we burned can be repaired an built stronger
than before.
Your neighbor will eventually see you living an honest,
healthy, sober life each day and the fence between
you guys will be mended and the bond of friendship
restored.
