Sounds like you’re off to a great start Lucy. I found reading recovery books very helpful in the beginning. You will never regret waking up sober. Glad you’re reading and posting, SR has been the biggest part of my recovery. I read and post here daily.

Thank you guys for checking up on me! I have one week today. Feeling better by the day, a few rough patches, but I know how good I feel feel as the days go on! Diving head first into all kinds of recovery stuff has helped me, online meetings, reading my old journals an watching some horrifying documentaries on alcoholism.

Congratulations on one week Lucy. That’s a great achievement. I am back on day two after 1 day slip. I don’t know if I could watch the horror documentaries. I do online meetings as well.

Congratulations on one week Lucy! That is the hardest one physically, and you never have to deal with it again. With each day sober you will start to feel a little bit stronger both mentally, and physically.

Sobriety is such an amazing gift, and I am grateful for it each day.

Keep posting, and sharing your successes.

❤️Delilah
