So happy it’s Friday and I am home from work! I need to get some meditation and exercise in this weekend too. I checked out that park mags and yes, I am quite a bit more north than you, I am on more west and about as high up as Harrogate. You live in a stunning part of the world though and would love to be that close to the east coast!

Have a happy sober evening folks xx

Kaily, every weekend counts, it’s not just 22 weekends, it’s Wow! 22 weekends. If you’re ever struggling, come here, there’s always someone about.x

Manta, I live near an industrial town unfortunately but it does bring work for people, though I’m a few miles out of town, there are some nice places on the coast about 30 miles away. I’d like to live a bit nearer to the sea.
Hope your meditation and exercise goes well this weekend.

I’m sat on the bed and going read a book for a while. Thinking all the time I’d like a hot chocolate drink.

Have a good evening, morning, afternoon.

on the train home & it definitely feels like I've earned this weekend.

drinking couldn't be further from my mind - I want to be up at the crack of lunchtime tomorrow without a hangover.

Welcome to Weekenders Citrus!

It's a late one for me (by my standards, it' not that late really) I'll have to catch up on everyone's posts tomorrow.

Goodnight gang and good luck for a hangover free morning.

Turning in early tonight--I worked the past two days to complete a promotional dossier, and submitted it today.

I'm absolutely worn out from it, but made the deadline and it's a wait and see game now.

Wish me luck

MB, haven't seen you in a bit--how are you?

I am very proud of my quit date, that's why I have it in my signature. And I still post in the 'count our days sober' thread weekly. But I think the real celebration belongs to those that are days, weeks and months into thier new sober lifestyles.

Hurah to you!

Hi BlueWellies, welcome to Weekenders
There’s a lot of information about cravings, here on SR, and how to deal with them, then finding the best one that you can work with.

Some great photos. I should have guessed that video of the prancing deer was taken in the UK from the disused tyre that was left there at the beginning of the clip.

I did quit in December 2014 MLD51 but I joined SR in Jan 15 and joined that group (I was confused about what to do I guess)

Congratulations on Day 5 BlueWellies!

Good luck with your promotional dossier Hawkeye, that sounds interesting as well as hard work.

Grey old morning outside.

Day 1 for me again. My ex and I did divorce paperwork and I let myself go. Should have just processed because my drinking only made me hurt more, spent a whole night in tears.
Trying again, I have faith that I can do this.

Saou, I didn’t recognise it was London, without the traffic! Always heaving on the few times I’ve been there! Lovely pic though.

NicLin, Sorry about your divorce, as you say, drinking just made you feel worse. Your feelings will be all over the place, and though it will be difficult for you at the moment, you’ll need some good reliable ‘tools’ to use, to prevent drinking again.

Captain we’re rapidly approaching our 1st anniversary! It’s only a week till I hit 11 months, I can hardly believe it after 35 years of drinking! Some days it’s hard to not pick up a drink, but it’s sooo worth it to live a sober life

I’m loving the photos of deer and springbucks. We don’t have them here, but we have these ❤️

Hey Sao, aren't cars running on the wrong side of the road in your picture?

Kangaroos sure can jump Willow!
They are also pretty good on air guitar!

Have a good Saturday sober Weekenders!
