Is your tinypic image set to "private"?

For a while there, any images that started with "http" instead of "https" [secure] wouldn't show in the forums...I've found that some of them with "http" post and some don't now. I have to use the Preview Post feature to check before I try to post offsite images.

I don't know how to check is it's private. But it does start with http, not https

Yeah I saw that http...the only way you'd know if it was private would be if it is your personal image in your account on tinypic and you had set it to private. If you have "borrowed" an image off the internet it wouldn't be private.

I downloaded an image to my computer and then uploaded it to tinypic and resized it. That's what I always used to do.

Well, I saw it by copy/pasting the image url. I think I read somewhere on this site that tinypic doesn't work anymore for direct linking. There's always postimage.com

I always just steal an existing url and check it first or load it to my SR picture albums.

I am definitely going snorkeling at least once while I'm there. A lot depends on the weather. The forecast doesn't look great. I had thought about getting certified to dive before I go, but time got away from me.

You're doing well Vinny, most people in our hemisphere are not ecstatic about things in the first half of January. With the tablets I guess you can always tell your doctor that they don't seem to be doing much apart from making your clothes tighter.

I've just watched the movie "Experimenter" about Stanley Milgram, the author of the famous Milgram experiment. Very interesting. I knew the essence of the experiment but when details are described it gives more perspective.

I want to be a lady of leisure too. Permanently. But unfortunately like Bim and MB I also have to get a job. I had a couple of things in the pipeline but they don’t appear to be manifesting the way I’d envisaged... and I will really need a boost to my financial situation very soon....if I want to eat and maintain a roof over my head etc...
I quit my job last year (your description was a little like my job Vman... of 15 years anyway. I’d just finally had a gutful). I have been quite laxydazy about work since Mum got suddenly sick and then passed away, and I am still struggling to both come to terms with her not being here, and with finding direction in my life. I just don’t have any motivation and I’m struggling a bit more than usual today.

Dragon I’m not sure if your daughter’s Meh is because it’s going to be a piece of cake for her and easy as pie to make a chair, or because she’s not into it or doesn’t really care. If it were my niece saying Meh, it could mean either oh that’s nothing, I can do that with my eyes closed, or that she’ll do it but doesn’t care about the outcome. Not that she could easily make a chair (what an out there kind of request!) but that’s the attitude behind when she says Meh. I have no idea if what I just wrote actually makes sense. Or if anyone cares. Meh

I’m in a stupid head space today. I need to get some coffee into me. I need to get out of bed first. And today just getting out of bed seems to be a challenge....
