Glad you’re doing well horn but I really don’t think Vegas is a good idea. It’s a place that normalizes and even glamorizes alcohol. I have been and couldn’t go at this point and stay sober. Please stay in contact here and if possible with your sponsor. Find local meetings daily. Is there anyway you all could skip the land of leaving Las Vegas and the hangover and go to the Hoover dam? Grand Canyon is beautiful and camping or a more physical hiking, kayaking, spa trip? You will be so proud of yourself if you really could get through Vegas without drinking. That’s an ultimate sobriety challenge

Just got back from Cleveland, guess what everyone drinks there to , went to a browns game a lot of drinking there , people going to the bathroom missing half the game.
Wherever you go there will be people drinking. ,never been to Vegas but I would think it would be tough. Make a plan stick with it . The hardest part for me was having servers trying to push wine or beer on me for dinner, very annoying. Good luck.

The way I figure it you have years to go to to Vegas Horn.
Take a look back at one of your recent relapse threads.
Without I hope rubbing it in, that was a broken man willing to do anything to stay sober and avoid temptation.
I'm worried for you that you appear to have done a complete about face on that in a very short period of time.
I understand you feel guilt about what your family, and your wife has had to go through, but you remind me of me - trying to lift 300 pounds straight off because you don't like the feeling of being 'recovering'...
