Goodbye everyone
I just wanted to thank everyone for sharing my journey to recovery with me. I have enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you on these boards. You have shared many wonderful things with me and I hope that I have inspired or helped you in some way along this path. Everyone here is so amazing and it has been fun. Sometimes things change and take us on to a new path and before I embark on my new path, I wanted to say goodbye to everyone before I left. I couldn't leave without saying anything. I've been clean and sober for 28 days today and I'm go grateful. Good luck to you all. Remember ONE DAY AT A TIME and it will all come together. Love each and every one of you!

Hope...I just wanted to let you know that, yes, you have been (and are) an inspiration. Probably more than you think. In reference to your last post on the thread you started...a lot of people may not reply, but that doesn't mean what you wrote isn't being read or absorbed. I sorta had a problem with that in the beginning. If I wasn't getting a lot of responses to something I wrote, I thought I either offended a lot of people (but, people aren't that slow to speak their minds on here, so I've learned) or that what I wrote wasn't worth it. THEN, of course I would feel bad/hurt/angry. That DAMN alcoholic way of thinking...I tell ya--rooted in self-centeredness. Everything must always be about me, me, ME! And God forbid if I didn't give someone a mind-blowing epiphany from what I wrote! A little humor here.
Anyways, I hope that the journey that you speak of is filled with happiness and joy. You will be missed, but you know if you ever decide to come back that you're always welcomed. Good luck to you always!

Take care of yourself, Hope.
I just wanted to let you know that even though I never responded, many of your posts gave me strength and inspiration to continue with my own sobriety. For that I want to thank you.
I, for one, will miss you.

I'll miss you too, Hope. You've been a positive voice, and a hopeful one (!). I've enjoyed your upbeat attitude and your honesty about how hard recovery can be sometimes. I wish you the best on your journey.

You posts have helped me so much. I may not have responded, but they have made a difference in my life.
Just this post has helped me realize that I need to join in more and not just read the entries.
For the longest time I thought to myself, what do I have to offer? What advice can I give?
You and others have made me understand that even if I just posted: I was sober today. That can make a difference.
Congrats on your sober time and I wish you all the best.
