I don't like Fridays either - they have a couple of hours which give me a sense of profound misery. I am feeling like the Universe has forgotten me...

Goodnight weekenders.

I found out tonight that my older brother fell off the wagon. He had been sober since last November after going to detox.
Apparently he has been missing for a week. It's nothing new for him. He has lost everything through alcohol. He will come home when the money is gone and folded in two. It's a pity as he was doing well.
Sorry for the downer.

I'm sorry Fridays are hard because of that reason suze. I hope you can find some peace. Thank you for reminding me I have much to be grateful for.
I hope your brother shows up soon vman. My BIL does the same thing on meth. And since I refused to let him stay with us as it was endangering my sobriety, I feel partly to blame even though I know it was the best decision.
I hope everyone has a good weekend. I work tomorrow at the beach house and am off Sunday. Not sure what I'm going to do yet. Probably take it easy. I miss my mom and wish I could spend it with her.

A 3 week business trip sounds pretty intense. When do you leave ?
Goodbyeevan that sounds like a tough situation with your brother too. My 45 year old bro lives at home with my mam and that is a big error.

Vinny, I am leaving on May 21, early morning.
And I have to get a new set of clothes because it's a resort seaside town, and I have zero clothes (Not "woman's zero", but real zero) that fit for the climate.
On the upside, maybe change of scenery will do good for me. And I love the sea.
