Great TED talk video

I came across this video today that I thought was worth sharing.

https://youtu.be/wvCMZBA7RiA

It describes my drinking, which was in the gray area. Not too extreme by some standards, but not moderate by medical standards. Either way, I had had enough and I knew were I was heading even though I hadn't hit the bottom yet.

There were also great points in the video that anyone can benefit from: how alcohol affects the brain, the acronym NOURISH to deal with not drinking, and identifying common fears.

If you have 15 minutes, check it out!

This is one of my faves- from the founder of the restaurant group for which I work and of the recovery group which I lead in Atlanta.

That was pretty powerful.

I also know the negative effects of alcohol in my line of work, where it is commonly accepted, and we also do a pretty bad job of looking out for another.

Thanks for sharing.
