I've finally decided to do some cleaning in my apartment, because it's a legit mess.
And guess what I am doing - beating myself up!
"I should be writing now. I should be taking care of long-term things".
Ahhhhh.
"My dear child, don't break your heart".
But this mantra hasn't sunk it yet.

At least your recognising it MB and that is half the battle. Once you have cleaned your appartment you will feel so much better, your eyes won't be full of clutter and your heart not full of anger at yourself for letting things go and your writing/motivation might just improve! Put down the beating stick, show yourself some love and give yourself a chance xx

I'm interesting in starting some sort of singing exercises m'self. I would love hear how you progress in the new chior, keep us posted!
MB, I had to write little affirmative message sticky notes and put them up where I would see them a hundred times a day.
The only problem is if I have someone over, I feel like I need to take them down. Some of them are pretty cheesy. BUT they work.

Hi, weekenders.
Thank your for ideas and support)
I am back from swimming. I did 32 laps) Back to a clean balcony.
I feel so lazy))))
I need to write those sticky notes to evict toxic thoughts out of my head.

The sticky notes really work.
On the bathroom mirror, on the refrigerator, above the computer, next to the light by the bed, above the spot where I make coffee. It just takes having alternate words to put in my head other than the negative ones. Poetry is good to memorize, too. When I get into some morose mood, reciting a long poem helps to put the right words in my head, words that are orderly and not random firings from the ego.

I kept listening to the the old fogey music (pre 21st century ) most of the day. And I have to say I love that Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed stuff. Those guys seemed really classy and cool as breezes.
When I think about my wasted youth growing up to the Wolfe Tones and the Dubliners...
Banjo Barney was still a hero
Goodnight weekenders.
Rendez-vous on a new thread tomorrow.
