Day 11. Struggling.
Hi everyone.
Here goes, I've made it 11 days without drinking (which I have done a couple of times over the last year) but I am again struggling at this point.
Although I love waking up feeling more refreshed, I'm feeling better each day in every way - I have had some really strong cravings the last 2 evenings for some wine.
I haven't had any, and hope not too, but I am really anxious about the weekend and what it may hold. I know what I intend to do (shops, gym) but I know I will get the Friday feeling at work tomorrow, and really looking for some strong mental ways of dealing with this.
I know the basics 'keep busy, drink tea etc' just really really hope I can make it through.
Hope everyone's well this evening xx

Hi Rebecc - welcome back
There are some great ideas here on dealing with cravings:

I'm not sure what else is in your plan but keeping busy and drinking tea etc but there is support here right across the weekend - why not make a commitment to yourself to come and post here @SR first if you find yourself in trouble?
There's some more great ideas on a recovery action plan here:
