Back to day one :(
HI soberseeking
you're not the first person to go a week or so and then just give in to the next temptation. It's hard.
Having a Recovery Action Plan makes it less hard tho, and makes your recovery that little bit more resilient.

I had to stay away from friends who would offer me a drink in early sobriety. Working with a sponsor doing step work made the difference. Reading the Doctors Opinion many times helped me with step one. It took me awhile to realize I was indeed an alcoholic. I would say it, think I was admitting it, but did not truly concede to my inner most self.
Around 6 months I was better prepared to engage with others when alcohol was present, but would only go there upon having a good reason and being fit, as we say. Thankfully, there are other places I will never visit again - along with some "friends."
My avatar reminds me daily it's not the caboose that will kill me, it's the engine - that first drink.
Keep coming back
