unfortunately I live in an unusual situation. The stress and this home is quite toxic. I usually eat when everyone is asleep. But- I have been drinking water and had a Gatorade and amultivitamin. :-) .
Things are swiftly changing and I will soon be out of here. It is life and death for me. For all of us really. I truly have to do this now and I want it as well. .

Classical music. It's soothing.
Also, if anyone reads this, altho I haven't stayed sober these past months, I think what has kept me going was volunteering at an animal shelter. Find what you love and give back to it. I believe it saved my life.
@bimi not so much physical. A controlling and mentally abusive environment.
This music is perfect.

I used to volunteer at an animal shelter - for about seven years I did that. Bless you for giving back to the animals, and I agree it is super helpful and therapeutic. I still have a shelter-kitty. I love him.
I like this forum. So many good people here - and so much wisdom.
If you find yourself awake at 2AM, take a look through some of the sub forums, especially the Mental Health/Anxiety one and the Spirituality one. Lots of good stuff.
I love the Earth Prayers thread in Spirituality:

This is a crucial time in my life. I lost my business two years ago, and have soul
searched, thus ending up at the animal shelter and have been extended a job. I need to do this. I really love working with animals.

I simply want to say thank you all for your responses, kindness, and advice tonight. I seriously have tears streaming down my cheeks. I didn't think anyone was going to respond and even better, they were all great responses, suggestions and advice.
I'll be checking in tomorrow, as I will be heading back to work and I'm pretty scared. I just want everyone to stop wondering what's happening to me- sick all the time.
All will be well. Oh, and why is everyone dreaming? I haven't been dreaming.
Could it be the melatonin I'm taking? It's not working, but it may be helping ?
Who knows......

haha. Melatonin gave me the creepiest scariest nightmares I've ever had.
Nope. I'm glad you can take it - it's not for me! I had nightmares all the time when I was drinking, but after about three months sober, I haven't remembered very many dreams at all. Fine with me. I sleep like a log.
May you have a workday tomorrow where everything goes the way it's supposed to go.
