Hello perea3 and a warm welcome to SR. You will find loads of friendly support here to help you achieve your goal.
You say you do not know how to stop drinking. The key thing is you want to stop. The next thing is you found some help - posting here.
Have you tried to stop previously? What did you try? I notice you signed up here quite some time ago.

Good morning, perea3. Welcome (back)!
I've been here off and on since 2012 and am finally getting it! To me the key has been to make recovery/discovery a full-time job.
Meetings, reading recovery stuff (including this forum and the Alcoholism forum), planning my day so that I'm busy from morning til night, rearranging to change up my living space and eliminate drinking reminders... you get the picture. Perhaps most importantly, I've made myself accountable to many people that love and care about me. They know to expect a call every x weeks (depending on how close we are) and to check me if they think I might be going off the edge.
I'm happy to help in any way I can. What are you doing now?
O
