Dee74, I am still trying to understand the insanity associated with alcoholism and how the alcoholic finds it so easy to give up the person that they love over alcohol. I've even started questioning whether an alcoholic is capable of truly loving someone. I really appreciate all of the support that I am receiving here. It is very helpful to me. I wish so much to pick up the phone and call him but I need to be strong. It has been almost three weeks since I left and he has not made any attempt to reach out to me so I have to be strong and do the same. I have to believe Tomsteve when he says that my ex loved me enough to let me go.
