Checking in...... Day 4
So I am feeeling pretty good physically. Been getting two workouts in a day (cardio in the am, weights at night), and eating well. Dropped 4 lbs in 4 days. All those empty alcohol calories/carbs are gone!
It's been an emotional rollercoaster.
Big test will be the next 4 days. Going to Chicago tonight, back home to tomorrow night. Airports. Yikes!😉
I'll let y'all know how it goes. Thanks for the support !

That is fantastic! Just imagine if that's only 4 days, how much better it'll be in a week or two!
Don't let airports trip you. Funny, I drank at home late at night, never in airports .. so that association would not be there for me. I understand that it IS a trigger for you, but it just shows how it's totally "in our minds". I know that sounds obvious but I also think it's encouraging. It's just a matter of retraining your thoughts. An airport is just as "safe" a place as church or a gym or anywhere .. it just takes time and repetition.
You can do it! Fake it till you make it. One day you'll walk by people drinking in an airport and be bemused and incredulous that you ever did that.
Hang in there!
