Day 7 is finally here.

Day 7.
This has been a really difficult quit for me. I have a buggered up knee
so I can't run. I had to cancel a trip back east because of the knee which bummed me out. I was really looking forward to eating some Maine lobster and fried clams and seeing my sisters and some old band mates from my youth.
I am pretty sure I am still holding on to some anger and resentments.
This feels like it has been the longest 7 days of my life.

I have 28 days sober out of the last 32. Not perfect but a huge improvement from a fifth of vodka a day for many a day.

Still here. Just not saying much but I am reading the posts which really help.
Protect your sobriety.

Sometimes easier said than done, but the happiest and most content I am in sobriety is when I'm fully accepting of the fact that there is no circumstance under which I can drink.

7 days is awesome, six

Sometimes it isn't easy. For me, when I have powered through a tough time, that is when I have the most gratitude for what I have been through and am going through.

I am 2 1/2 years in and I am still dealing with some old resentments. I just reached out to my former counsellor for some appointments to deal with them.

Keep keeping on, I know that you know, you won't regret it
