... I hated myself. I wanted to die. I had yellow eyes. I was sick to my stomach. I could NOT stop drinking. I truly wanted to kill myself. I called myself an ambulance and was put on a 72-hour mental health at a local psych ward.
Everyone has a day one. That was my last day one. Calling that ambulance was the best thing I've ever done for myself.
If I can be on day 12 today and you're still struggling, you can be on day 12... 12 days from now.
I just thought I'd share that. Happy sober Saturday night / Sunday morning to all.
