back on "the Wagon"
Hello, I chose this forum after reading through many threads. It seems like a supportive and diverse group of people who are seeking a new beginning and are willing to support each other on this journey. My last drink was 4 days ago and I am going by the 7 weeks to sobriety program. Lots of vitamins and dietary changes! Prior to the last two years drinking I had close to 18 years sobriety, attended AA meetings and learned so much about myself, this addiction and life without drinking. Many are the reasons I relapsed but I do realize sometimes I have to go through what I have to go through to get where I am today. Glad to have found this forum. As a 63yr old woman, the empowerment gained through sobriety is not lost on me. As a 63yr old woman the realization that without sobriety there is little else that will be achieved in my life but struggling to hold on to what is here and now, and that will be lost as well. The vitamin therapy and talk therapy is a guiding Light of HOPE. Detox is on, but believing healing is also happening. Peace, Light and Love....
to SR Linky.
I am really glad to have you here, and yes this is definitely a very diverse and very supportive group.
Make yourself comfortable, look around (this is a big site with many nooks and cranies) and don t hesitate to reach out whether it is because you need support or to help out someone who is struggling that day.
You can do it

Welcome Linky. Glad you found us.
Do you believe that your alcoholism is caused by biochemical imbalances and nutritional deficiencies or just that this may be one factor to address?
Wishing you all the best for your sobriety and recovery. BB
