2 weeks sober

Feels like forever but making progress. I know sobriety is the best choice for me, and that drinking will only cause havoc to my life.

2 weeks is a tremendously good start! Congratulations. Don't go back. You are at a point where the mind will start playing tricks - "geeze, maybe I wasn't so bad; I can probably have just a couple" type thoughts. Many people fall for this and, weeks or months later, end up back at square one with the further damage from kindling. Good luck. You can do it!

I think of all the akie/addicts who never make it one day, much less 2 weeks!

Looking a posts from Day Oners can be a real inspiration. It helps to keep focus on just what we each went through to get day 1..2..3...
