30 days is a long long time for a drunk to be sober.
Physically, imo....you are clean as a whistle. Mentally...the brain needs its happy sauce.
It took me many many months to stabilize to an acceptable mental level most of the time.
I made it 8 months clean about 20 years ago. It was so easy...i decided I could start again and quit if I needed to....wrong!
This last quit...2 years ago...was hell on earth. I could have easily ended up in the looney bin.
So, that was scary.
I respect and fear booze now. I will never drink again.

Congratulations! Yep, in hungover state I often used to forget whether I'd already given the dog his breakfast and once I looked into his big brown eyes.....I think he got quite a few double breakfasts in my drinking days! He is perhaps the only member of the family not loving my sobriety
