Heartburn is back...
Heartburn is back...
I've ate tums like crazy since my early 20's, about two weeks after I stopped drinking my heartburn totally went away, haven't had it since Xmas time and the last two days it's back, I don't get it, thought I was rid of it, haven't done anything different in the last while that I can think of, hope it doesn't last.

There is an over the counter medicine, ask the pharmacist, you take it for 14 days and it should clear up so long as you don't rough up your stomach with alcohol, strong coffee, a lot of tomatoes or spicy stuff, whatever else gives you heartburn..
..even non-drinkers become more sensitive as they get older. There's certain foods I just can't eat because they give me issues
And don't lay down for three hours after eating. That is hard some times.
But be aware, you can overdose on Tums. And their effect doesn't even last that long.
