Hello everyone

This my first post, I've been a member for a while just reading the posts and replies. I thank you all for giving me the courage to change my life in ways I could never have expected, I actually love life now. It is hard when the cravings come but going back to hell isn't an option! I hope others wanting to change their lives will also find the courage from members of this site.

I'm glad you posted, Pete. I feel the same way - going back to hell isn't an option. I finally know that's where I'm headed if I decide to have 'just one' again. Good to know you are feeling optimistic & hopeful.

Thanks for posting up Pete. This is a very positive message. I'm in early recovery (again) and need to be reminded that going back to my old lifestyle is just not an option!

Hi Time2Focus, you may be in recovery (again) but at least you are having another go, you sound like a fighter and recovery is worth fighting for! When people give up trying they've given up, period.
