First Day
Hope this works.I have been high on something almost everyday since I was 11 years old.Now I'm 52.I have stuck mostly to alcohol for the last 15 years. Every morning I get up and pray that I can stop drinking. I hope that finding this site is the answer to those prayers.

I also had drank or got high for so many years I forgot any other way to live - but this community helped remind me that there was a real person inside me, a me not defined by drugs or drink.
They helped me rediscover that person and turn my life around. I know we can help you do the same

Thanks everyone. I made it through my first day. The only time it bothered me was around lunch time. That's usually when I start drinking. I'm sure it will get worse before it gets better. I feel like I'm committed this time. Glad I found you.
