Here I am again....day 1

Well I had 3 weeks of sobriety, and it was going just fine, but on Saturday I bought 4 bottles of wine at the grocery store! Bad mistake, and I have been passing by that section of the store with no stopping until then. Ok so between Saturday evening and last night, I went thru 3 of those bottles of wine plus 7-8 beers......in 24 hours......who does that? That's ridiculous! I just lose all control once I start and I have a higher tolerance I guess. I know HALT, I know that drinking never turns out good, why do I ever think it would be any different! So I have gone from drinking 3-5 times a week to like 1-2 times a month. But even once is too many! I will be 35 yrs old this year in July, and I just want my sobriety more than anything, so I can be healthy and be here for my kids who I love more than anything in the world. I want to give them the best life possible and I know I can only do that by staying sober every day, no mater what!
I am seriously thinking about joining AA and talking to my doctor about my desire to stop drinking.

This is the time for action, not thinking. The way to get sober is to get a medically-assisted detox, and look up local AA meetings. Make those phone calls!

Just wanted to add, I'm not too sick today, just have chills and anxiety. I'm drinking chamomile tea, that usually helps. And taking the day off to work on my plan.
