Welcome asthecrowflies, and congrats on 2.5 weeks! It does get better and easier with time, hard as it is to imagine some days. I'll have 2.25 years in a couple days, and I've just been thinking about how significant JUST QUITTING has been. Removing booze doesn't fix any of the reasons you drank in the first place, and for awhile it makes everything feel worse. But when you get to the point where you're drinking around the clock like you and so many of us were, the booze really does become your worst problem. Without it I feel like I have ten times the strength to tackle everything else :-) It took me 6 months before my knuckles weren't so white anymore, but at some point each new day is a new power-up. I think the PAWS stuff people have suggested could be helpful, or at least reassuring (at least it was for me). This forum was a huge help to me as well. Keep coming back, and again, GREAT JOB so far.

Hi and welcome asthecrowflies
Most recovery groups have online meetings now - not only AA but more secular oriented groups like SMART Recovery or Lifering too.
There's a method called Rational Recovery that is book based - no meetings at all.
My advice is to Google all 4 and see which one suits you the best
You'll find a ton of support here too
