Not quite Leasha standards, massive well done btw and best of luck for the race - but smashing my 10k and half marathons PRs in events. Accomplishing my first ever bar pregnancy sober holiday and being present for every moment of it.
Stupidly started drinking again after that and early days again but I know how good sober feels and what I can achieve if I set my mind to it.

Sober for grandsons 3rd birthday, fourth of July, going out for meals and actually enjoying the food, having motivation to go for walks, tricks or treating sober, art festival and the whole holiday season being free
Many many best moments last year. Proposing in Seattle on Feb. 14. Only 11 days sober and still a little wobbly.
Answering the front door last spring when the guys on bicycles came by on their mission. I was playing my Telecaster with a 30 foot lead and answered the door wearing my guitar, still playing. Almost unbelievably, I was sober, shaved and fully dressed and not breathing vodka fumes in their face. That was a great victory.

Finishing my Boston qualifying marathon and not only finishing in the qualifying time but finishing 15 minutes FASTER than the qualifying time. My profile photo is me finishing that race.
Hearing my dads voice cheering me on at the finish and hearing how proud he was of me for reaching my goal and staying sober. It would never have been possible when I was drinking.
My dad recorded the finish for me and I'm so happy as this was by far the BEST sober moment of 2016. (Link below if you want to see)

Mine was when I got a letter from work saying my contract has been renewed from 01/01/17 - 31/12/17. So at least I have a job for the next year unless I screw up majorly I suppose.
I only started working there at the end of May 2016 so I was pretty happy with that. No way would I be doing so well work wise if I was turning up hungover every morning.
It's all down to not drinking.
Here's to an even better 2017!
