I know it is thanksgiving, and I'm not exactly a "newcomer", but If any of you can do chat I need some assistance. I think things are going to be ok but it is a very scarry time for me due to my long term drinking. Been on this site a long time, but need help and the chat room is not responsive (perhaps because it is Thanksgiving). So if you can chat please come. I am in the "crisis center".

If you cant cause today is a big day .... that's ok. I'll work through it.

old-school, maybe you can share here
about whats going on. Remember that
all of us have either gone thru the same
similar things as each other have, so there
has got to be some kind of ESH we can
share with you.

Just ask what you need.

My husband often tells me that he cant
read my mind and will never know whats
going on with me if I don't speak up. And
I understand that, so I have to continue to
remind myself that and practice it often
so that if anything huge pops up that it
wont be hard to open up to him or others.

We can share our suggestions the best
be can guiding you in the direction that
can help u solve this situation you are
in.

ok ... I'm feeling "OK".

I put a lot into trying to figure out what to do as my evaluations at work went down, lower jobs, professional friends who admire me and still believe ..... but can see I'm not the brightest light bulb in the bunch. That hurts me too.

I made some irreversible decisions on Wednesday. I thought about It for a long time (since May) I think there are some little pieces I'm in danger of messing up on health insurance etc. I think I will likely have to kick my son out, give
