The first time I quit for about a year. My husband, at the time, had an impressive collection of nice red wines and hard liquor - I was a beer and (cheap) white wine drinker. Having his alcohol in the house never bothered me. He wasn't much of a drinker so no temptation to "join in".
Good job dumping the wine. No need to torture yourself. Keep busy, post on here. Sounds like you are of to a good start!
