Woke up from bad Nightmares

I woke up with an asthma attack after several bad nightmares in a row.
I drank yesterday most of the day and now I'm feeling a little sick.
But I'm remembering the advice from here that "I never have to feel this way again", at least not from drinking.

I hope after this breathing treatment and some water I can go back to sleep. And praying I don't feel too bad when I wake up.
I was feeling positive about being sober mid October and I'm not really sure what happened to set me off again but I know my health is suffering. I know I'm on a bad path. Thanks for listening folks. Back to bed and hopefully some sleep!

You never have to feel this way again, Marissa. It's so simple but so perfectly true. I spent too many drunken nights in blind panic and nightmares and horrifying fear. I thought I was the absolute worst and that I would die drinking, but I have 11 months now and I am starting to feel real peace and comfort in my sobriety. I wish you every strength and success.

One of my dreams was a man having a C-section..lol probably from watching Grey's Anatomy last night.. Our brains are crazy.. And they get crazier with anxiety.

Oh and BTW.. never a good idea to consult Dr. Google in the midst of a panic or asthma attack..

Dr. Google is definitely bad when you are feeling anxious! Know that with increased sober time these things do get better. We just have to stay the course.
