Louis Theroux Documentaries - Drinking To Oblivion
THANKS VERY MUCH Belier!
The 50 minute video of drunks in a UK hospital is profound!
Say writers, what would be on a list of similar addiction films and videos?
I recall "Train Spotting" as one.

In this video by Louis Theroux:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyJSk8q8Q7E. (Alcoholics)
The patient with the hugely swollen liver, that needed regular draining, was shocking! As was his denial that he may have only 3 months to live.
All the alcoholics where profound though.. Even the successfully recovered one.. Who finally got ongoing anxiety med's, and then wasn't even temped by available drinks.
I see Louis T. in the UK has more hour long real addictions videos, including on meth..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrTlI6seM0A (More Alcoholics)
Now I'm wondering if many alcoholics like me originally have a learned 'helplessness', often from childhood; that may accept Thantos.. Which both later becomes comforted by addiction.
All of which portend demise. . . until the original helplessness is 'cured'.
hmmm
