3 years!
Hey everyone. Today marks my 3 year anniversary completely drug and alcohol free. I am a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, but I also come on here and read some posts when I need some strength or am curious to read some other people's experience. I just wanted to say if I can do this so can you! I thank God that I "get it".
How awesome is this that YOU and I
are celebrating our sobriety birthdays
on the same day.
3 yrs. and 26 yrs. of many one days
at a time added together to get us
where we are today. Continuous sobriety
to achieve health, honesty, happiness.
Your recovery/sobriety is a journey
in life journaling your ESH - experiences,
strengths and hopes of what your life
has and is like before, during and after
alcohol, filling each page, completing
each chapter except there is no end,
because our journey is forever going
taking one step at a time.
All those awesome rewards as written
in our Big Book of AA are always there
for us to appreciate and enjoy for yrs to
come and the longer we remain sober.
