I find I'm a lot more easily entertained in sobriety. That's a good thing! It means I'm not out looking for drama or cheap thrills.

Yep, I find that to be true for me, as well, Marty. I never thought I'd enjoy sitting out on my porch and having a tea or coffee ... doing nothing. It used to be a prime drinking spot. Now I don't even think of drinking out there. And it's rejuvenating to spend time out in nature, with my head on straight.

Must've been numbed out before.

Same with me and my deck. I used to almost always have wine out there with me. I don't even associate the deck with drinking anymore.
