Is it okay to feel sad and angry?
With the restricted license you will be able to drive to work, if you get a new job, I believe? But, getting to the interviews is a problem. Is public transportation a possibility? If not, and Mom and Dad are willing to do the driving, let them know how much you appreciate it.
And, I agree that you have to be honest about the DUI, if asked about it. I think saying it was a mistake and won't happen again is appropriate. I would try to not say anymore than that. If they probe, I might say something like 'that happened in the past and since then I have worked very hard in getting my life back on track.' Good luck with the interview!

And I agree...I'm just going to do everything I can to keep it short and sweet. As I've found a lot over the last few months this I am probably anxious over nothing.
Sure it's normal to feel sad and angry- you are in a hell of a mess. Quite a list, I had most of them. A 5th DUI and some other issues but it read the same. Actually your list doesn't look that bad to an experienced eye. Hell I'll bet your even younger than me.
Somethings on your list are pretty good. You have parents that will help you, you still have some money and will get a regular unemployment check. Turned down 3 job interviews? Your getting interviews-that's Really good.
It took a while to get into the mess and will take a while to get out. You may have to fix one thing at a time. You have a lot of resources. Let your parents or anyone else help you if they will. We all need help sometimes don't be too proud to ask. They will Enjoy helping-don't deprive them.
Try focusing on what you do have and what you are going to do with it.

. Public transportation is an option for this city, and I planned on doing it but dad offered a ride instead. Regardless I am super grateful for both of my parents. They've done so much for me and have shown me a lot of compassion throughout this process. I don't know how I'll ever repay them honestly.
