HP with a sense of humor
It's Saturday morning, and hubby and I are rudely awakened by our neighbor mowing their lawn at 7 a.m. Our bedroom window is only about 8 feet from their back yard. I was not a happy camper, let me tell ya. So I get up grudgingly and get my coffee, sit down with my tablet, and open up my bible verse of the day app:
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
2 Corinthians 4:17
Had to laugh at that one. At least I didn't wake up with a hangover!
On to day 7, and hope everyone is well this morning!

It's nice not to let the little things get to us today in sobriety. I work on this daily. Can't imagine how hard it would be if I (we) were drinking? You are right, The Word found in the Bible does seem to pull me (us) through.

Congratulations! Up at 7 AM too. I live near rice fields and planes doing whatever they do to rice, fly at 7 every morning for a month. I usually go to sleep between 1 and 2 and sleep until near noon so I'm not liking this at all!...I'm reminded of years ago when I didn't want to get up early for an AA meeting. An almost empty pack of cigarettes on the nightstand started moving by itself! I flew out of bed. Well, there was cricket inside. Had a great laugh along with my HP and went to the meeting.

Possibly He gets a laugh when I start making my big plans ??
